WELCOME BACK!
We are excited to welcome all former members of the Indiana University Marching Hundred, RedSteppers, Drumline, Twirlers, and Flag Corps back to Bloomington for this year’s Homecoming game against the University of Michigan. We also welcome back former Marching Hundred directors Ray E. Cramer and Stephen W. Pratt, who will be conducting the band on the field.
We are especially happy to welcome back all alumni RedSteppers, who are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of their founding, and the members of the Rose Bowl Band, who this year mark 55 years since playing in Pasadena.
The weekend kicks off with the Homecoming Parade Friday, October 7 at 6:00 pm followed by the Homecoming game Saturday, October 8 at noon.
Registration is $35.00 per person and includes coffee and donuts Saturday morning, and a box lunch at Marching Hundred Hall prior to the Homecoming football game. Guests are welcome!
The RedStepper and Rose Bowl Reunion attendees will have additional registration charges. RedSteppers and Rose Bowl Band members will pay $50.00 for their activities. Please note you must first register for Homecoming before selecting the RedStepper and Rose Bowl add-ons.
Advanced registration is required. Please register by September 23, 2022.
HOMECOMING PARADE
The Homecoming Parade will be held on Friday, October 7 at 6:00 pm. As we did in 2021, the Alumni Band will play for the IUAA VIP Tent and assemble guests in the half-hour before the parade’s 6:00 pm start. The band will be set up on the steps of Cramer Hall. Rehearsal begins in Cramer Hall at 4:45 pm with the performance starting at 5:30 pm.
HOMECOMING GAME DAY
The 2022 Homecoming Game vs. Michigan is at 12:00 pm. Saturday, October 8. Join your fellow Marching Hundred Alumni Band members for coffee and donuts, an annual alumni meeting, pre-game rehearsal, and a pre-game lunch at Hundred Hall. Click here for the full schedule.
ALUMNI BAND APPAREL
Our goal is to have the entire Alumni Band outfitted in the look again this year. Please click here to order by September 9.
If purchasing apparel is a barrier to your participation, contact mhalumni@indiana.edu, and we will assist.
New alumni—Classes of 2020, 2021, 2022—if you are going to attend Homecoming, to welcome you to the ranks, you may request a polo, without charge. The polo must be picked up on Homecoming morning at check-in.
